Spider died peacefully after a long battle with an uterine infection.  She also had a neck tumor early in her life which was successfully removed.  It was sad to see Spider go, but we are glad that any suffering she may have been experiencing is over.  Spider was a very happy rat who loved exploring.  We let her have the run of the apartment every evening and she would dash around try to climb everything in sight.  She has taught us that no place is truly rat proof.


Spider loves to chill in the hammock


Spider likes tea bags.  She will grab them out of your cup and run away with them to chew a few holes before you can stop her.
Running around on top of the couch is so fun!

Spider squirmed her way into my lunch bag looking for a treat.
Spider is shoulder trained, and loves to get rides around the house with a shoulder view.

Bad Spider is sneaking some drink from my cup.  She LOVES ginger ale.
Oh no!  Please not another bath!
